European Heritage Days 2020

The European Heritage Days are back again in 2020 and Venice joins the initiative with three of the museums in the city. On 26 and 27 September 2020 the:

National Archaeological Museum of Venice

Days and Hours

Sunday 27 September at 2.30 pm and 4.00 pm

The entrance will take place from the Correr Museum with the purchase of the “Museums of Piazza San Marco” ticket, free for residents of the municipality of Venice.

Reservations are required on 041 2967663, maximum 8 people per guided tour.
Meeting point: room 9 of the Archaeological Museum.

Museum of Oriental Art of Venice

For the Museum of Oriental Art, Under the gaze of Kannon. History, iconography and restoration of a sculpture of the Oriental Art Museum of Venice. The work preserved in the Museum’s deposits has recently been restored and studied, revealing peculiar technical aspects.
Marta Boscolo Marchi, director of the Museum, and the restorer in charge, Beatrice Falconi, will talk about it.

Palazzo Grimani Museum

The Museum of Palazzo Grimani in collaboration with the “RiVe” Study Center, awaits its visitors to deepen the history of art and artistic techniques through the works and decorations of the Museum, accompanying visitors with guides from the internal staff and young scholars of the “RiVe” study center.
