La Traviata

Opera in three acts by Giuseppe Verdi on a book by Francesco Maria Piave, based on La Signora delle Camelie, the play by Alexandre Dumas (son). Violetta Valery is a young courtesan of Paris, dedicated to luxury and pleasure, but sick of tisi. One evening, to forget the illness that afflicts her, she invites her friends to dinner. It is on this occasion that she becomes acquainted with Alfredo Germont, a good-looking young man who has fallen in love with her.

September in Venice

An extraordinary month, such as few cities worldwide are able to offer, to be wholly discovered and experienced: it is September in Venice. This is the most sought-after period of the year, not only due to the mildness of its climate, favouring a pleasant stay in the lagoon, but also to the important series of events traditionally featured now in town for its Guests.
