DOMUS GRIMANI 1594 – 2019 | The palace classic sculptures collection after four centuries

An exceptional return for what used to be the collection of sculptures belonging to the Grimani family, held until the end of the 16th century inside the Renaissance venues of the palace and then bequeathed to the Serene Republic of Venice. The core of the exhibition will be a reconstruction of one of the most significant episodes in European museology – patriarch John’s Tribuna Hall, still whole in its architectural structure.

This event, presented within a publication by Marsilio, is accompanied by an exhibition of furnishings and artworks permitting the recreation of the decor and atmosphere of a 16th century aristocratic dwelling.
