4444 WATER AND FIRE

An exhibition developed over two sections and two venues, presenting, until 1st April, a showcasing project by sculptors Toni Venzo and Marco Mortalar, recounting the historic and social bond with one’s land through contemporary art: the Plateau of the seven Townships of Asiago and the Brenta Valley, two territories linked since remote ages by the longest natural stairway in Italy, actually featuring 4444 steps.
Trees from the forests on the Plateau used to come down this trail, full of symbolic significance, travelling those ancient timberways, and reaching the lagoon and the city of Venice.
