About fifty photographs by five established Italian photographers – Guia Sara Besana, Silvia Camporesi, Anna Di Prospero, Simona Ghizzoni, Moira Ricci – compose this exhibition (from 1 December to 3 February) on the theme of female depiction seen through a woman’s eye itself. A source of inspiration for the eponymous book by journalist Concita De Gregorio, the pictures recount moments of female stories through a sort of self-portrait, touching on themes such as the family, mothers, childhood, solitude and fear, the body, sex, children. Each artist not only wished to display some photos included in the book but also more recent, or even unpublished ones. The exhibition, by curator Maria Livia Brunelli, features texts by Concita de Gregorio. INFORMATION
