ILLUSION | Nothing is how it seems

Until 4 April.

By curators Michael John Gorman (the Science Gallery Dublin founder) and Richard Wiseman, for Venice Science Gallery, this exhibition presents itself as an investigation into the way of seeing, feeling, thinking and understanding the world, trying to show how what we perceive is very often radically different from reality. To explain this, 19 interactive works and installations created by artists from seven countries worldwide, offer a glance inside the human mind by exploring the reasons and mechanisms of sensory deception.

This exhibition, the first of a series devoted to the issues of sustainability, accessibility and innovation, will be accompanied by a programme of collateral events.
