Memory for the Future | Forty years of Ikona Gallery in Venice

Until 26 January 2020.

The exhibition, a tribute by the foundation to this Venetian gallery’s forty-year long activity, testifies to the dense network of collaborations and know-how of its itinerary from its debut to the present, which, thanks to its director and mentor Ziva Kraus, has left its mark on photography history in Venice.

For the occasion, a poetic installation by Simone Serlenga and Elena Veronese features a display of about fifty posters and sixteen photographs by some famous photographers, including Gisèle Freund, Rosalind Fox Solomon, Arnold Kramer, Paolo Monti, Franco Fontana, Ferdinando Scianna and Alberto Bevilacqua.
