To 11 September.
A special project within the “Pushkin Museum XXI” initiative, proposed by the Pushkin Museum in collaboration with Stella Art Foundation,
is presenting this exhibition in tribute to the 500th anniversary of Venetian artist Jacopo Robusti, named Tintoretto.
In the same church that displayed works by the Renaissance master, contemporary Russian artists Dmitry Krymov and Irina Nakhova, with American Gary Hill, are presenting their particular figurative research, in an ideal union with the historical context and with a painting by Emilio Vedova, the Italian modernist artist who felt a strong bond with Tintoretto.
A restoration project by the Mediengruppe Bitnik Swiss team will complete the exhibition.
