Developed over two exhibitions set up in the same number of venues at the Venice university Institute of Architecture, this exhibition features the influence which this great American architect’s concepts had within the athenaeum starting from the second post-war era, a period of great cultural and planning flux, also due to the presence in town of personalities like Bruno Zevi, Carlo Scarpa and Wright himself.
The exhibition is flanked by a photography section – American Journey 1949-50 – dedicated to Bruno Morassutti’s travels in the United States, further extraordinary and unknown proof of the appeal that Wright, Soleri and the new American landscapes exerted in that exact historical phase.
Open: from Monday to Friday 10.30am – 5.30pm. Closed on Saturday and holidays and from 13 to 19 August.
