Nell’ambito del Premio “Un merletto per Venezia” un’esposizione negli spazi del rinnovato museo dedicato all’importante manifattura veneziana, intende raccontare nascita, crisi e rilancio della Scuola del Merletto di Burano, nata a fine Ottocento grazie anche al patrocinio della regina Margherita di Savoia.

Within the ambit of the “Lace for Venice” prize, an exhibition in the venues of the renovated museum dedicated to this important Venetian artefact, wishes to recount the birth, crisis and relaunching of the Lace School in Burano, born at the end of the Nineteenth century also thanks to patronage from queen Margherita of Savoy.
